Questions schools ask us
Do we need Microsoft 365 to use Spark?
No, Spark works with its own secure accounts and also supports Google sign-in. Microsoft 365 integration is recommended for schools already on Microsoft.
Which permissions does Spark need in our tenant?
Only what the features you enable require. We use a least-privilege app registration that your Microsoft administrator reviews and approves.
Will our MFA and conditional access policies still apply?
Yes. Because sign-in happens through Microsoft Entra ID, your existing security policies continue to apply.
Can you help set up our Microsoft 365 tenant?
